Seasonal Equipment Valet · Twin Cities
Each season, we swap out what you don't need for what you do. Snow blower delivered before first frost. Mower back before first mow. Serviced, ready to run, and you never had to think about it.
How it works
The swap happens twice a year. In fall, we pick up what you're done with and drop off what you'll need. In spring, we do it in reverse. You get your garage back both times.
Choose a plan and tell us what you need stored. We'll schedule your first swap within a week.
We pick up your mower, drop off your snow blower, and haul what's in storage to a climate-controlled facility. One trip, one visit fee.
While your equipment is with us, it goes to a certified partner shop. Tuned up and ready before it comes back to you.
We bring your mower back before the first mow and take the snow blower off your hands. Serviced, tagged, and ready to run. No calls. No shop runs. No waiting.
Pricing
All plans are billed monthly. The swap visit fee covers one trip to your address per season, not one fee per item.

How a swap works: Each visit, we pick up what you're done with and drop off what you need next. In fall that means your mower leaves and your snow blower arrives. In spring it flips. The $49 visit fee covers the whole trip, not each individual item. If you're storing a mower and a snow blower, you pay $49 per swap visit, not $98. Homestead customers never pay a swap visit fee.

Early feedback
Every April I tell myself I'll get the mower in before the rush. Then the grass is already long and the shop is backed up three weeks. With SwapShed it just shows up sharp and ready. I don't even have to think about it.
We have a two-stage blower and a self-propelled mower taking up half the garage all year. The Homestead plan basically gave us our garage back and made sure both of them actually work when we need them.
The garage has two cars in it for the first time in six years. I'm not exaggerating.
Questions
How does the swap work exactly?
Each visit we pick up what you're done with and drop off what you need next. The fall swap means your mower goes into storage and your snow blower comes back to you, serviced and ready. The spring swap reverses it. One visit, one fee per season.
What's included in a tune-up?
Our partner shop handles oil change, spark plug, air filter, blade sharpening on mowers, and a full run test on blowers and mowers alike. The same service you'd pay $100 to $150 for and wait three weeks on in April.
What if something gets damaged?
Every item is photographed at pickup. We carry cargo and storage insurance. If something changes condition while in our care, we make it right.
Can I get my item back between swaps?
Yes. An extra swap visit is $49 per trip to your address. If you're on the Homestead plan, both seasonal swaps are already included.
Where is my stuff stored?
In climate-controlled storage in the Twin Cities metro. Good for gas engines, rubber parts, and anything you don't want sitting through a Minnesota winter in a garage.
What if I cancel?
Cancel any time. We'll schedule a return of your items at the next available swap run. Homestead members' rate lock applies only while the subscription is active.
